What is a Escape Walk?
Think Escape Room, where you are locked in a room for a period of time and you have to solve clues and puzzles to get out of the room. An Escape Walk is the same principle but it's an "Escape Room without the walls" it's totally outdoors and takes you on an adventure through the town where you need to solve clues and puzzles to unlock the next clue using GPS Technology and scanning things that come to life on a provided iPad and is time based. Not only do you get to have fun with family and friends you get to explore Port Macquarie in a different way, discovering places you may not usually venture to.

Are the walks guided?
No, you and your group will be on your own. You will be given full instructions of where to go and what you need to do prior to your booked walk. You will be also given everything you need to help you solve the clues.
What if I get stuck and cannot solve a clue or puzzle?
You will be given a a clue sheet where you can access further help online if required.
What do I need to bring with me?
Yourself and your group, sensible footwear and comfy is recommended as you are walking. Booking confirmation, as this will be used to gain entry to some elements of the walks dependent on the walk booked.
Are we COVID Safe?
Yes. All equipment is cleaned daily and not reused until the next day. We also have a COVID Safety Plan in place.
Do I need a mobile phone?
Yes. You will need a phone with internet access to get additional clues if required.
How long does an walk last?
The walks can last from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on how fast you solve the clues and puzzles.
Who are the walks suitable for?
The walks are suitable for various ages and abilities. They are rated as Low, Medium and High difficulty. High difficulty means there are harder clues and puzzles to solve. Medium means the puzzle s are slightly easier to solve. Low means the puzzles and clues are really easy to solve and are more just for fun and exploring without having to think too hard!
The level of access to the walks varies from walks with steps and inclines to flat paths and no steps.
The walks will indicate the level of difficulty and access.
e.g. Discover 1821 Port Macquarie is High difficulty and involves steps and inclines
Discover hidden Street Art walk is Medium difficulty and includes no steps or inclines.
How many people can book onto a walk?
The maximum number of people on a walk currently is 8, a good size for a team is 5-6 adventurers but 8 is possible. But we can accommodate for larger team events, please contact us for details.
How much does it cost?
Start from $20 per adventurer (over 10 years old)
Free (10 and under) - When you book please let us know at the checkout how many children under 10 will be in your group as this is required for entry to a location to solve the last clues
Can children join in?
Yes, children can be involved in walks but we recommend that they are over 10 years old for the "Discover 1821 Port Macquarie" walk and Operation Mindfall

What is the difference between the standard Operation Mindfall and Sip and Solve Game?
The 90 min Operation Mindfall game is hands on and walking around town looking for clues and solving puzzles, the 2 hour Sip and Solve is based at 3 venues and a little less hands on but still challenging and less walking!
